Students enjoy Valentine's activities with residents

In their second week at their new home, the Logan Manor nursing home residents and students shared many activities this week.
The Preschool and second grade students handed out Valentines to the residents while Mrs. Kayla Moore and her 1st grade students decorated sugar cookies with them for Valentine's Day. The 1st graders also joined the residents in the Community Room as the Manor crowned this year's King and Queen. The high school students interacted with the residents as well by handing out Valentine's Day balloons from the Logan KAY club. The residents came down to the Scholastic Ally in the new Logan elementary school for High 5 Friday and honored the elementary students during their "dog tag" awards.
