Twelve schools join for WKLL JH Band Clinic
On Tuesday, March 5, 160 junior high students from the Western Kansas Liberty League participated in the league band clinic. Students spent time in their individual schools preparing the music ahead of time. When they arrived in Logan, those students worked with clinician Sarah Bricker, Oberlin to put together four pieces of music for a performance that evening. Mrs. Bricker remarked, "What a wonderful opportunity it is for students to come together like this to make music and be a part of a huge band- bigger than their school bands. It is a great way to make connections." League schools include: Brewster, Healy, Tri-Plains, Weskan, Grinnell, Palco, Northern Valley, Western Plains, Cheylin, Golden Plains and Logan.
