Logan Spellers Compete in the Phillips County Spelling Bee

The Phillips County Spelling Bee was held Thursday, January 30, at the Huck Boyd Center.  Thirty spellers from Logan, Phillipsburg, and Thunder Ridge competed in the bee.  Logan was represented by 4^th grader Jayla Traxler; 5^th graders Cora Ashmore, Taden Gottschalk, and Emma Traxler; 6^th grader Austin Leanna; 7^th graders Kendra Alexander, Rhett Kats, Ryan Prewo, and Mayson Vahling; 8^th grader Brooke Wiltfong.  All Logan spellers survived the first round.  Ryan and Brooke were eliminated in round 4.  They tied eight other spellers for 5^th place. Congratulations to all of our students who were selected to compete in the Phillips County Spelling Bee.  They represented Logan well!
