Stuco Sponsors Powder Puff Football
Even though it was sprinkling and chilly, the Student Council held their 3rd annual Powder Puff football game, on Tuesday, May 2. The two teams this year were the Peaches, coached by Josh Van Laeys and Chase Archer and Better Than You coached by Kelson Kats and Jesse Bebb. The game started off fast with an interception caught by Ryann Kats, who was able to gain a few yards before getting "tackled." Both teams put some points on the board, and at halftime, the score was tied at 12-12. The Peaches came out strong in the 3rd quarter and never looked back. The final score was 30-18 Peaches. The Logan boys also got in the action by reffing, running the chain gang and announcing the game.
Following the game, the Student Council sponsored a hotdog feed for all participants.
