Trojans first game back!
After a 2-week winter break and a 2-hour late school start due to weather, the Logan-Palco Trojans faced Lakeside on Tuesday, Jan. 3 in the Palco gym. In a 2-quarter game, the Lady Trojans rolled over the Knights 12-4 and added a win to their record. The JV boys were down 17-22 with 5 minutes left on the clock. The Trojans came back and were up by 1 point with 1:20 left in the game, but couldn't hold on and lost 27-30 in the last seconds. The varsity girls lost their game to the Knights 38-60. Senior Madi Brackney led in scoring with 15, and junior Mara Kats followed with 9. The Trojan boys won the varsity contest handily 52-39. Three Trojans ended the night in double-digits with Rhett Kats scoring 17, Ethan Gaschler 13 and Cameron Morgan 11. Kats also added 13 rebounds.
Taking a break on Tuesday, the Trojans will play back-to-back as they travel to Plainville on Thursday, Jan. 12 and Rexford on Friday, Jan. 13.
