Hannah Brumbaugh participates in State Spelling Bee
On Saturday, March 25, Logan 7 th grader Hannah Brumbaugh, represented Logan and Phillips County in the Kansas State Spelling Bee held at Newman University in Wichita. She made it all the way to the 4 th round spelling “joinery” and “maidenhair” and correctly identifying the definition of “transcription” during the vocabulary round. Ninety-five students from across the state competed. After round 4, there were only 17 spellers remaining. Congratulations to Hannah on representing Phillips County in such an outstanding manner! Hannah is the daughter of Wade and Jennifer Brumbaugh of Logan.
