Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Saturday, April 23, music students from Logan travelled to Baker University in Baldwin City to compete at the State Solo and Small Ensemble Festival. All class 1A music students who earned at I rating at regionals were eligible to attend. Pictured above are - front row: Marie Ko, Makenzie Jansonius, Brianna Pinkerton, Kayla Hofaker and Riley Stockman. In the back row, Vesta Jo Still (instructor), Darrian Elliott-Lammers, Mollie Sammons and Faith Hofaker.
Earning a I rating were: Kayla Hofaker, French horn solo, Riley Stockman, vocal solo, and Faith Hofaker, alto saxophone solo. Earning a II rating were: High School Vocal Ensemble and Makenzie Jansonius, vocal solo. The campus of Baker University is a beautiful campus. Students enjoyed the day but the drive home was long.
