Logan Hosts 8th Grade Promotion
Logan hosted the 8th Grade Promotion at 2:00 on Sunday, May 9th in the Logan School Auditorium. Opening the ceremony was 8th grader Ryan Prewo. Seniors Khloee Braun, Ian Sparks, and Haylee Tien gave speeches to the upcoming freshmen about what to expect in high school. The class then sang "Best Day of My Life" by American Authors. David Kirkendall presented the Valedictorian award to Rhett Kats and Salutatorian to Kendra Alexender. Ryan Prewo received the Citizenship Award. Ashlee Tien handed diplomas to the class then Rhett Kats closed the ceremony. Seventh graders Case Ashmore and Austin Leanna were the attendants. The class chose a white carnation to be their flower. Their class sponsors are Shannon Kats and Sarah Rudd. Their motto was "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."
