Mr. Kirkendall honored as Principal of the Year!!
LOCAL SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR HONORED
The Kansas Association of Secondary School Principals (KASSP) is proud to recognize David Kirkendall, Lincoln Jr/Sr High School, as the KASSP Area III Middle Level Principal of the Year honoree.
KASSP is an organization of over 400 secondary school principals from across the state of Kansas. Kirkendall was nominated and selected by peer principals. Candidates are evaluated on their school leadership, school improvement, dedication, professionalism, and service to students.
Congratulations are extended from the Kansas Association of Secondary School Principals to David Kirkendall.

This award will be presented on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Wichita Airport during the Kansas Principals Conference Awards Reception at 5:30 pm.
Mr. Kirkendall became the PreK-12 principal at Logan USD #326 in the Fall of 2016.
He earned his associate degree from Cloud County Community College and his bachelor's degree from Bethany. He received his Master's degree in building administration from Fort Hays State University.
Mr. Kirkendall taught history and government in Stafford for 14 years, where he also served as the technology administrator and coached football and wrestling. From there, he moved to Lincoln where he served as the 7-12 principal for the last 5 years.
Mr. Kirkendall and his wife, Donna, have two children, Alli and Matthew.
