Scholars' Bowl places 4th at League
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn January 16 the LHS Varsity Scholars' Bowl team traveled to Ransom to compete in the Western Kansas Liberty League Scholars' Bowl tournament. There were 12 teams competing. The Trojans finished with a record of 8-3 defeating Brewster, Palco, Cheylin, Healy, Triplains, Northern Valley, Weskan, and Heartland Christian. They finished in a tie for 3rd place with Northern Valley and Golden Plains. The tie breaker is determined by head to head competition. Since Golden Plains had defeated both Logan and Northern Valley, they were awarded the 3rd place medals. Logan officially finished in 4th place. Competing for the Trojans were Matt Kirkendall, Bodey LeRoux, Zachary Jansonius, Jed Peace, and Ian Sparks. Leading scorer for the Trojans was Bodey with 225 points.
