Student to attend Youth for Music
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLogan musicians have been recently selected to perform at the 47th annual Youth For Music Festival band and choir. On Saturday, Feb. 4 students from Logan will travel to participate. Sophomore Lana Minks has been chosen for the band and will play alto sax. Singing in the choir will be seniors Darrian Elliott-Lammers and Leamarie Edwards and junior Makenzie Jansonius. The band, under the direction of Patrick Sieben and Renetta Knox rehearses at the historic Brown Grand Theatre while the choir, under the direction of Sara Bays and Hannah Draper Burnett, rehearses at Cloud County Community College. The day ends with a concert at the Brown Grand, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Admission is charged. Public is invited to attend. Students are under the direction of Vesta Jo Still.
