Christian Foundation awards essay winner

The Phillips Country Christian Foundation sponsors an annual writing contest for all 8th grade students in the county.  Students are encouraged to identify a hero in their life who is a good role model for others.  One winner of the "My Hero" essay contest is chosen from Logan, Northern Valley, Thunder Ridge, and two from Phillipsburg.  Winners each receive an iPad, a protective case, and an iTunes card.  During lunch on Thursday, Feb. 21, Nicki Sammons announced Jersey Voss as the winner of the annual writing contest.  Jersey wrote about her father, John Voss.  Congratulations, Jersey!
