Honor Band/Choir
Launch the media gallery 1 playerEarlier this month, two Logan students performed in the NW KMEA District Honor Ensembles. Makenzie Jansonius, soprano, sang in the choir and Madison Gottstine, trumpet, played in the band. The girls were selected based on an audition of required music. The day was filled with adventure and rehearsal which culminated in a concert at Fort Hays State University. Selection to the district ensemble is the first step for consideration in the All-State Honor Ensembles. Madison will attend All-State Live auditions in January. It has recently been announced that Makenzie has been selected to participate in the All-State Honor Choir in February in Wichita.
