Lady Trojans snap losing streak against Palco
On Friday, January 19 the Trojans hosted the Palco Rooster for a match-up of old friends. The evening started with two quarters of JV girls basketball, where the Trojans were able to come up with the win. After that game, we went straight into the varsity girls game as the Palco boys don't have the depth to play a JV contest. By halftime of the girls game the Trojans had doubled the score on the Rooster as they were up 24-12. Finding a little of the confidence that the Lady Trojans have been looking for, they went on to shoot at 41% as a team for the night and were able to keep their opponents to a struggling 18%. The Lady Trojans won the contest 46-29. They were led by Brianna Pinkerton with 12 points, 5 steals and 2 assists and Harlee Voss with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
