Lady Trojans move past Cheylin
The High School JV girls defeated the Cheylin Cougars 26-20 in an overtime game. With 10 seconds left in regulation, Ryann Kats made a turn around jumper to tie the game. She was fouled on the play and had the chance to finish the game. However, with the missed free throw the game went into overtime, but Logan went on to win 26-20.
Lately offense has been a problem for the Lady Logan Trojans. In the Feb. 12 contest against Cheylin, it seemed to be happening again as the Logan girls found themselves behind 11-24 at halftime. After halftime however, the gates seemed to open up and Logan scored 16 in both the 3rd and 4th quarters. Cheylin was held scoreless in the 3rd quarter and the final score ended with the Trojans winning 43-36. Logan had three girls scoring in double digits as M. Hilburn had 13 points with 8 rebounds, Greving had 12 points and 6 rebounds and Braun had 10 points with 5 assists and 8 steals.
