Ladies hang on for the hometown win
On Friday the 13th, with a full moon in the sky, and a front moving in, the Logan Trojans took the court against league opponent, Triplains/Brewster. The Trojan teams were able to put together wins in 3 of 4 the games. In the girls junior varsity game the Trojans pulled out the victory in an exciting 23-21 overtime game.
The Logan varsity girls had points to makeup, after a loss to the TItans earlier in the season. During that early game, the Trojans were only able to score 21 points in the loss where they shot a mere 13% from the field. The Friday the 13th luck must have been in the Trojan's favor, as they shot 37% this time and poured in 49 points. It was close to the very end, but the Lady Trojans avenged the previous loss with a 49-44 victory. Karlee Braun led the charge with 20 points (12 of them coming from 3 point shots in the first half).
