Coach Robin Van Laeys commented "The Lady Logan Trojans competed in the Rock Hill Invitational Tournament on Saturday Sept. 30.  In our pool was Rock Hills, Pike Valley and St. John's Beloit.  After playing a very solid first 2 matches and making improvements as a team, adversity set in.  The Trojans were about halfway through an exciting, very clean final pool match, against St. John's Beloit when senior Lexi Hilburn went down with a sprained ankle.  I am very proud of the way the girls rallied the rest of the day as they played new positions and rotations.  We ended up losing the last 3 matches of the day for a 2-3 tournament and a 4th place finish.  The consolation match of the tournament was extremely competitive and a replica of last year.  We fell to Clifton/Clyde in three and the third set was extra volleyball, as the score ended up 29-31.  Both teams missed opportunities to put the match away, but I am proud that at no point did my girls ever quit fighting."
