Boys lose to Triplains-Brewster in final seconds
The Logan JV boys had an easier time than the girls did, as they won 38-24 in their first full JV game of the season.
In the final game of the evening, the Trojan varsity faced a quick and athletic Titan team who was quick to draw first blood as they took a 9-13 lead in the first quarter and led 23-31 at half. Nobody can say that the Logan team gave up, as they came back and had the game tied a couple times during the fourth quarter. In the final seconds, the Titans made a couple free throws to go up by three and defeated the Trojans 49-52. The next game for LHS is against the neighbors to the north, Northern Valley, on Tuesday, January 17th in Almena.
