Regan Kats plays in All-Star games
On Sunday, April 3, several area high school basketball players were featured in the 23rd Annual Colby Bowl Northwest Kansas All-Star Basketball Classic held in the Community Building in Colby.
Logan 6'3" senior Regan Kats was a member of the Light Team and scored 10 points in the contest. "It was neat to see a lot of high quality talent all in the same place. You don't get to see a team full of that level every day. It was nice to play with some of these guys instead of against them all the time. It was fun," said Regan.
"I was given the opportunity and privilege to be the head coach of this extremely talented team at the Northwestern All-star game in Colby. More importantly, I was able to visit about the futures of twelve young men. What an amazing experience," said Logan head basketball coach Mark Wildeman.
Regan also participated in the 2016 Sunflower Shootout All-Star Game on March 19 in Smith Center.
