Free throw shooters are on to State
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThree Logan students represented the Knights of Columbus Regional Free Throw Competition on Sunday, Feb. 20 at the Tipton Community Center in Tipton, KS and placed well. In the 9-year-old girls division, Harper Delimont finished in a 3-way tie for first place. In a shoot-off, she ended in 3rd place. In the 10-year-old boys division, Gunner Ashmore also tied for first place, and after scoring 4 for 5 in the shoot-off, placed first. Rhett Kats placed first for the 14-year-old boys. Both boys will advance to the state competition on March 6 in Salina. Seventh grader Taden Gottschalk and eighth grader Case Ashmore also participated in the Regional contest.
