JH ballers play last regular season games
On Thursday, February 2 the Logan Junior High basketball teams got to play their final regular season game at home against Western Plains/Healy. This game was a make-up game from early January. Both girls and boys junior varsity teams were able to play four full quarters, but neither Logan team fared well as they both suffered a loss. In the A team girls game it was a close game at half, but Western Plains/Healy pulled away for the win by a score of 30-16. The last game of the evening was the A team boys. At half time the Trojans found themselves trailing 14-17. Coach Jenner must have given quite a motivational half-time speech as the Trojans ended up winning the game by a score of 48-19. Next week the Junior High teams will play in the end of the year WKLL basketball tournament in Brewster on February 9 and 11.
