JH hosts two home ball games
The Logan/Palco Junior Trojans endured a busy week, hosting two home ball games. On Monday, Sept. 21, the girls volleyball team hosted Heartland Christian, and the boys played Hill City on the football field.
The Trojans swept the court as the A-team won in two sets 25-15, 25-20, and the B-team won 26-24 and 25-18. The boys didn't fare so well as they had a tough time against the Ringnecks, losing 52-6.
On Thursday, the Trojans were back on their home court taking on Golden Plains. The A-team came out with another win in two sets with scores of 25-10 and 25-23. The B-team struggled and finished with a loss 16-25 and 14-25, but the Trojan C-team came back and won the one set they played 25-15.
On the gridiron, the Junior Trojans avenged their loss on Monday and dominated the Bulldogs with a 52-6 victory, and ended the game early in the 4th quarter with the 45-point rule.
The Trojans will take a week off and will see their next action against Triplains/Brewster on October 8. Those games will be held in Damar/Palco.
