Huskies prove victorious on their home court
It was a tough day for the Logan /Palco Trojans as they gave up four losses to the Huskies on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Almena.
Following a loss from the B-Team girls, the B-team boys started out the game timid couldn't get their shots to fall. Down 9-21 with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter, they found their spark and made a 10-point run, closing the gap against the Huskies. Time ran out as they couldn't quite catch up and fell 19-23. The A-team girls played neck and neck throughout an exciting game with the Huskies out-scoring the Trojans in the final minutes of the game to win 26-33. The A-team boys started out tough with a 1st quarter score of 9-11, but couldn't keep up with the 3-point shooting from Huskies Kenton Thalheim and Jason Cox and lost 32-47.
