Scholars Bowl season underway
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Nov. 2, the LHS Scholars Bowl team of Madi Brackney, Kylee Uhland, Brooke Wiltfong, Kaitlyn Alexander and Tye West traveled to Palco to compete. Schools attending were Hill City, Western Plains, Northern Valley, Palco, Stockton, Heartland Christian and Thunder Ridge. Although the Trojans didn’t come away with any wins, they competed well and had several close matches. Thunder Ridge took 1st, Stockton took 2nd, and Heartland Christian placed 3rd. Leading scorers for the Trojans were Brooke with 80 points and Madi with 35.
