Scholars' Bowl wins at League!!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Wednesday, January 18, the Logan High School Scholar’s Bowl traveled to Grainfield for the WKLL League meet. With 12 teams in attendance, a round-robin format was used. Logan opened up against Western Plains winning a close battle 60-50. Next was Healy, with Logan winning 90-20. Logan took care of Triplains
90-10, Cheylin 80-40, Northern Valley 70-0, Colby-Heartland Christian 60-0, and Weskan 70-10. This put Logan with a 7-0 record with 4 rounds to go. Logan next went against Golden Plains and lost 0-50. They finished strong beating Palco 60-10, Brewster 60-20, and Wheatland-Grinnell 50-30. Logan brought home the WKLL Championship with a 10-1 record. Golden Plains and Cheylin both went 9-2 with Golden Plains winning the head-to-head giving them 2nd place. Logan was lead in scoring by Faith Hofaker with 500 points, Makenzie Jansonius with 70 points, Kayla Hofaker with 60 points, Chase Archer with 40 points, and Leamarie Edwards with 20 points.
