Logan Scholars' Bowl wins at Osborne!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Thursday, January 12th, the Logan High School Scholar’s Bowl traveled to Osborne. With 18 teams in attendance, the teams were divided into two 9-team pools. Logan opened up against Smith Center beating them 100-10. Next was Hill City with Logan winning a close battle 70-60. Logan took care of Northern Valley 70-10, Natoma 80-40, Tescott 65-20, Tipton 90-10, Glasco 50-10, and Phillipsburg 120-20. This put Logan with an 8-0 record in pool play and placed them first in their pool. This put them against Sylvan/Lucas who was second place in their pool in the semi-finals. A close match was had with Logan prevailing 70-50. This put Logan against Hill City for the Championship. Logan prevailed once again winning 40-30. Logan finished with an undefeated 10-0 record on the evening. Logan was lead in scoring by Faith Hofaker with 540 points, Makenzie Jansonius with 80 points, Leamarie Edwards with 40 points, and Chase Archer with 20 points.
