Josh Van Laeys breaks school record!
After the team set a new high school boys basketball record last year for the average least number of defensive points allowed per game, the record board was opened again on Tuesday, Dec. 6. In a great effort on Monday's opening game of the Sagebrush Shootout in Brewster, senior Josh Van Laeys pulled down 17 defensive rebounds, breaking the 1969 record of 16 held by Bob Jackson. With a whopping 27 total boards for the night, Josh just missed that record of 30 also held by Jackson. Congratulations, Josh!!
