PreK-4 students dazzle crowd in spring concert
The PreK-4 students held their spring music concert on Thursday, April 29 in the Logan Auditorium. Throughout the year, Director Paul Prewo has incorporated movement into his elementary music curriculum by teaching the students choreography and line dances to popular tunes. Students also enjoyed learning to play Boomwhackers, recorders and ukuleles. The concert was a collection of pieces the students had learned including the preschoolers singing and dancing to "The Wheels on the Bus," and the third graders bouncing basketballs to the rhythm of "Happier" by Marshmallow and Bastille. The kindergartners enjoyed showing off their "Chicken Dance," and the grand finale included the 4th graders playing the "Cup Song" by Anna Kendrick with students playing the cups and ukuleles while they sang.
