The Animal Science Class
Course Description:
This class will provide you with an introduction into all aspects of plant and animal sciences. This class will introduce students to the world of animal agriculture and allow them to become more familiar with common terminology, physiology practices and other aspects of many animal industries. This course studies the basic principles of animal agriculture including health, reproduction, genetics, nutrition, marketing, economics, meats, and systems productions. The class will provide basic knowledge of plants and how to plant and maintain a garden as well as landscape and landscape maintenance. The students will also learn basic floral design concepts and be able to put those skills to use in the classroom.
