Individual-Positive Discipline-Students are expected to follow the school rules.  Students start out on Ready to Learn to begin the day.  Students will be given a warning if they break a rule.  Students will move  to Slow Down if they break the rule a second time.  They move to Think About it if they continue to break rules.  If they are on Slow Down, the student will lose 5 minutes of the following recess.  Once they are on Think About It they will lose 10 minutes from the following recess.  A phone call will be made to parents if they move to Contact Parents.  With positive discipline they can move up or down on the chart.  If they move up before recess they won't lose that time at recess.  If they do not move back up, they will not get a marble at the end of the day. Students can also move up to Good Choices and Outstanding on the chart as well.

Classroom-Marble Jar-Students are expected to behave as a class.  This would include times when they are changing classes, walking in a line, having a class discussion, etc.  Marbles are put into the jar as the weeks progress.  For example, as the class walks to lunch, if they walk in an orderly fashion, are quiet in the hallway, show good manners, they can receive marbles for the jar.  When the marble jar is full the class will decide what kind of reward they should receive.  They may get extra time at recess, have a small party, etc.
